Fiz esse vídeo de forma bem irônica, trazendo em pauta essa discução sobre as frases que muitas vezes são repletas de preconceito, mesmo sem intenção. Eu busco me desconstruir todos os dias sobre alguns “padrões” que aprendi desde a infância. Sempre tento me desvincular desse tipo de pensamento que agride outras pessoas, especialmente minorias. Resolvi desabafar um tiquinho de maneira leve nesse vídeo, espero que tenham gostado!
1- Seu rosto é tão bonito!
É como se o fato de você ser gorda anulasse qualquer beleza do seu corpo. Apenas o seu rosto pode ter o direito de ser bonito. Não, nem todo mundo é obrigado a achar o corpo de alguém bonito. Porém devemos pensar que este tipo de elogio singelo pode encadear uma baixa autoestima na pessoa que o recebe, por se achar inferior e sentir que apenas o seu rosto pode ser bonito.
2- Você tem que emagrecer, por saúde mesmo.
E quem disse que minha saúde não está boa? É complicado a gente falar sobre saúde sem ter os exames da pessoa na mão, certo? Não acho errado a gente se preocupar com a saúde e deixa-la sempre em dia. Errado é associar problemas de saúde apenas com pessoas gordas, taxando como saudável apenas o corpo magro. Se você pensa assim, sinto te informar que não é 100% verdade.
3- Ai, você não devia comer tanto.
Ok, eu super entendo que devemos fazer escolhas mais conscientes, saber eleger elementos em nossa alimentação que nos façam bem e comer com moderação. O que me incomoda nesse tipo de afirmação é que ela é destinada apenas aos gordos. Se chega uma pessoa magra com um BIG prato, ninguém opina na quantidade de comida, nem pensa na saúde.
4- Ai, tinha que ser gorda!
5- Ai, você tá ótima! Pena que engordou.
É engraçado como o fato de estar gordo sempre foi associado à algo negativo, e não apenas como uma característica pessoal. Difícil pensar que uma pessoa pode ser gorda por N fatores, ou magra por outros N fatores. Não dá apenas para parar a frase com apenas o “Ai, você tá ótima!”?
6- Fiz uma gordice!
Essa é uma frase que confesso que usava até pouco tempo. Me desconstrui desse pensamento após raciocinar toda a problemática que a envolve. Querendo ou não, o termo gordice remete à algo pejorativo, como se apenas os gordos saíssem da dieta e comessem besteiras. Aos poucos consegui enxergar isso e tirar esse termo do meu vocabulário.
7- Você emagreceu! Tá linda!
Como se apenas magra fosse bonita. É triste pensar que o emagrecimento sempre é associado com a beleza e a estética. Eu posso querer emagrecer um dia por não estar satisfeita com meu corpo. Tenho certeza que se isso acontecer será com acompanhamento nutricional e tudo bonitinho para não afetar minha saúde física e mental. Porém, associar esse emagrecimento com a beleza é problemático.
8- Você não é gorda, é fofinha!
Fofinha? Fofinha? Fofinha é adjetivo para usar com animais de estimação e ursinhos de pelúcia. Somos gordas!
9- Ai, ela é bonita mesmo. Pena que é gordinha!
Mais uma vez o termo gorda sendo associado à falta de beleza. É engraçado pois sempre cresci vendo a beleza como algo único, pessoal e intransferível. Muitas vezes eu achava beleza em pessoas que outras não achavam. Vice versa. Não tem nada a ver com estética, com a roupa da moda, com o cabelo bem cortado e muito menos com o tipo físico. Tem a ver com o gosto pessoal de cada um.
10- Homem gosta é de ter onde pegar.
Sim, diariamente escutamos coisas como essas. Temos que conviver com gordofobia, enrustida ou explícita, o tempo todo. Eu entendo que a desconstrução desse tipo de pensamento deve começar aos poucos, ser algo gradativo que, depois de um tempo, as pessoas entenderão melhor e começaram a colocar em prática atitudes menos preconceituosas.
