Um dos restaurantes que visitei nessa última viagem foi o Café Geraes Ouro Preto. Ele fica na parte de cima do famoso “Escadabaixo”, um pub bacana da cidade. Nós chegamos na cidade e fomos direto almoçar lá. Achei super bacana o local e resolvi mostrar um pouco do cardápio e do que pedimos, espero que gostem!

No cardápio, que une os princípios da alta gastronomia à simplicidade mineira, excelentes opções para os mais diversos tipos de gostos e as mais variadas ocasiões. Sobre o cardápio
Achei o cardápio bem variado, com produtos bem típicos da culinária mineira e da culinária internacional. Haviam muitas opções de entradas, pratos principais, sanduiches, petiscos, sobremesas e drinks. Achei bacana a disposição do cardápio. Os preços de pratos principais variavam entre R$30 e R$60. Haviam algumas opções mais fartas que, segundo o restaurante, servem 2 pessoas.
O que pedimos:
Para a entrada, escolhemos dois pratos que nos encheram os olhos de cara! O primeiro era um queijo brie envolto por massa filo e assado. Por cima vinha uma geléia de damasco e era acompanhado por pães artesanais. Estava divino! O queijo realmente derretia na boca. Eu amo misturas agridoce, recomendo super essa entrada pra quem também gosta. Também pedimos uma bruschetta feita com pão artesanal, queijo brie, geleia de jabuticaba e presunto parma. Estava maravilhosa.
Pedimos também um petisco para beliscar. O escolhido foi a costela de porco regada à molho barbecue servida com batatas fritas. Eu não sou a maior amante de carne de porco do mundo mas estava muito bem feita. O molho era sem igual, bem equilibrado e gostoso.
Por último nos arriscamos de pedir o prato para dois. O escolhido foi a parmegiana com purê e arroz. Ele é muito bem servido, acredito que sirva 3 pessoas com fome convencional. Serviu nós 4 (depois de comermos os pratos anteriores) e sobrou comida. É um prato farto, equilibrado e bem gostoso.
Preço da conta
O total da conta ficou em cerca de R$260 com os 10% de serviço e bebidas não alcoólicas para cada uma das meninas. Em média deu R$65 por pessoa. Achei um valor super válido por ser um grande bistrô conhecido na cidade, que serviu produtos de extrema qualidade e com atendimento diferenciado. Valeu à pena!
